Even our beds and toys are free from toxic dyes and phthalates, and even our body care products are free from sulfates and parabens. After all, we will never sell a product that we wouldn’t give our our own pets.
What we don't sell is just as important as what we do sell. We never 'sell out'. For example, ask us why we've never sold the likes of rawhide chews, latex toys or clay-based cat litter. Ask us why we've never used plastic bags.
We're always evolving to be better. We're always learning, and we embrace nutritional advances. We never hesitate to replace a product if we believe there is a superior alternative. We never hesitate to drop a product if we believe a company is beginning to put profit before principle.

Never any artificial preservatives, artifical flavours, colorants, grain, gluten or fillers added..We produce in an Alberta Health Services inspected facility. All but one ingredient is sold of restaurant human grade production. The only non human grade ingredient we use is Raw Greeen Tripe. Since our facility also produces restaurant foods, we get the tripe pre-ground and add it in at the end in our pucking machine in a separate area. Learn more.

Meet Aunty Donelda! She's the master baker at Jones & Co., a house brand that we're proud to showcase.
Over a dozen years ago, Jones & Co. was started as a collaboration between the 'Jones Girls' (Mom, Grandma and Aunty Donelda) and Metro Pet. For these generations of animal lovers, this was a labour of love. For over a decade, the Jones family made delicious and nutritious cookies, with Mom at the helm. As a professional cake decorator, she took incredible pride in her creations.
When Mom unexpectedly passed this past June, Aunty Donelda took the lead. Even in Mom's last weeks and days, she joyfully shared more of her detailed recipes and 'secret techniques', with her little sister, Donelda. Until the end, Mom was so proud of her perfect healthy frosting recipe that she created without the use of any sugars (she really wanted us to patent this technology). ;-)
With pride and enthusiasm, Aunty Donelda has carried on with the Jones & Co. traditions and honoured the high standards, recipes and techniques, but she has brought her own flair and style to the brand. We're confident that you'll agree that her cookies are beautiful! And, as always, every single biscuit is handcrafted locally with only the finest human-grade ingredients and tons of love and care.
