FULL-TIME
Customer Service & Nutritional Product Specialist

& Store Manager trainees.

 

We’re seeking a positive, savvy, mature, dog-and-cat-lovin’ team player to join our team. Applicants must have an in-depth working knowledge of animal and/or human nutrition and health, and/or a genuine interest to learn. The ideal candidate will have some post-secondary education; however, we are flexible with this prerequisite.

 

The successful candidate will have an amazing work ethic (reliability and consistency are key), an ability to take initiative, and a keen desire to learn. This person needs to be an enthusiastic and strong solutions-oriented team player who consistently goes above and beyond when providing customers with exemplary service that surprises and delights.

 

This candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, physically and mentally demanding environment. The nutritional training and education at Metro Pet Market is comprehensive and on-going; in fact, we have a Education & Training Coordinator who facilitates continued learning (including regular scheduled exams).  This is the cornerstone of our business. Most importantly, you must be able to apply this knowledge skillfully when communicating recommendations and suggestions to customers.

FULL-TIME/PART-TIME

Inventory Controller.

 

We’re seeking a positive, detail-oriented, mature, self-directed team player to join our team. 

The successful candidate will have an amazing work ethic (reliability and consistency are key), an ability to take initiative and an ability to work independently.  Candidate must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  Candidate must be able to handle the physical challenges (lifting up to 50lbs) of this position.

Some of the duties of this position include:

 -- Receiving/Shipping of product (including the unloading of large shipments of products from trucks)

 -- Performing inter-store transfers (between 4 locations)

 -- Delivering orders to customers within Regina and area

 -- Stocking, cleaning and organizing

 -- Merchandising when required

 -- Ensuring proper rotation of product with respect to date codes

*Details of this position are flexible and can be negotiated (ie. compensation plan including hourly wage, scheduling hours, use of company vehicle and/or personal vehicle)
